Fishing with Daddy

We had a great trip to Red River, NM. Lots of fun, food and beautiful mountains. The kids had a great time fishing, riding the ski lift, hiking and playing at the playground. They got to spend lots of time with grandparents and cousins. The were able to visit the Taos Pueblo and see some very beautiful Indian jewelry, bows and arrows, head dresses and more. Hope met a very special woman who made her a hematite bracelet.  It was very moving to watch Hope and this woman interact.

 

 

Things have been so busy since school got out. We did swimming lessons for a week which was very good for the kids they enjoyed it a lot and learned quite a lot.  Then we moved into VBS which they enjoyed even more.

 

Hope has been doing pretty well. She has been having a lot of abdominal pain so we decided to have an upper GI done. It did not show anything.  The GI doctor had nothing to really offer on why it might be occuring so for now we just have to work through the days of pain and see if there is maybe a food causing it or if it is growing pains. She has grown 2 inches in the past 3 months. Her weight was up to 25lbs but since she has been growing upward her weight kind of dropped.  Hope did not enjoy the fireworks. They were tooooooo loud she says!
